Normale Version: Copper in Crab and Shrimp pellets?

Hey guys,
I bought Zoo Med Aquatic Shrimp Crab and Lobster food pellets. I didn't read the back in the store and always double check before I put anything in the tank. Good thing I looked I see Copper Sulfate in the ingredients. I also bought Hikari mini-pellets for shrimps which has copper sulfate in them. My question is doesn't copper kill crabs and shrimps? Why would those be in the food? Would this product kill my crabs? Wouldn't want to take the risk thought I would ask.
Thanks,
Steve
HI there Steve,

yes copper kills invertebrates. But on the other side they also need copper to be able to live. It all depends on how much copper there is. Does it say how much copper is in the pellets?
