James Landschoff (University of Cape Town) und Rafael Lemaitre (Smithsonian Institution Washington D.C.) haben es mit der Beschreibung eines neuen Einsiedlerkrebses in Newsweek geschafft. Paragiopagurus atkinsonae lebt an einem schmalen Streifen vor der Küste von Südafrika in 199 bis 277 Meter Tiefe – und zwar in Smybiose mit Anemonen. Der grünäugige Einsiedlerkrebs lebt inmitten von Epizoanthus-Kolonien.
