These are being sold as marine crabs, does anyone know the species, and if they are actually semi-aquatic and brackish like other Uca species?

They've replied back that they should be ok to be kept in a brackish, semi-aquatic tank.
Ive found this site, hopefully both the species are on there,

Hi there Kevin,
fiddler crabs are definitely NOT Reef compatible. They live directly on the shore and not in Reefs.
Good luck with hunting for the right species

Hi Kevin
All fiddler crabs are, as Püffi said, not to be meant for a normal marine tank, e.g. means a riff tank. They need very shallow brackish or marine salt water and much sand to burrow. The ones posted here are the most expensive fiddlers I've ever seen.
Species should be (black-red ones) Uca annullipes or maybe on of several other species which come colored that way. The red ones could be U. crassipes. If You get ones we find out which species they are

I may get two of the Uca annullipes type-ones. Ive asked if they could send a male/female of them, since I guess two males couldnt be kept together?
Would a heatmat be ok to heat the tank, as well as the water? as a normal aquarium heater may not be possible if the water needs to be very shallow.

Hi Kevin,
a heatmat would only be ok below the water part – not below the land part where the crabs will dig.
Males can be kept together but not as many on the same space as females. The males rival for territory.
